Two colours down, and my plan is working. I am now the proud owner of a two year old who can say, in the cutest voice YEAH-LOOOOW and PURP-ELLLE!
I'm absolutely delighted that so many of my instagram friends have joined in with our colour challenge. I didn't expect it at all, and its brilliant to go to the hashtag #colourbythewall and see everyone's photos.
I really enjoyed yellow. Its a nice happy bright and summery colour. However, purple has been much nicer to spend time searching for, wearing and embracing for three days. I've even joined in and have worn it every day too. I didn't realise how much purple features in both Penny and my wardrobes, but we have lots. Her dad even has shirts, socks and the odd t-shirt.

We've spent the last few days out and about, and spotting purple everywhere. Mainly flowers. Penn is insisting on also pointing out the yellow flowers. The memo that we've moved on obviously didn't reach her teeny tiny ikea desk.
Craft time was a monster teddybear from me, and some fingerprinting from Penn (isn't pinterest great?)

Tomorrow we wake up to Grey. Hmmm, Im not sure how, in a house loaded with an almost blinding array of rainbow stuff, we'll manage to find grey to photograph. Until then, lets throw on our dancing shoes..... Purple rain, puuurrrrpllllleeee rain....
